Brent Knox, President, Owner
Brent has had a passion for design and real estate for a long time. As a child, he drew his first residential floor plan when he was 12 and knew it was his passion to become a builder. After joining the military as a rescue swimmer, he traveled the world living in multiple countries including Dubia, UAE in the late 90s working in the oil industry. After which, came back to the US in 2000, met his wife Andrea, started a family and began his journey and childhood passion to study Architecture. In 2007 he graduated from University of Tennessee School of Architecture in Knoxville TN. After graduating, noticing the demand for eco-friendly and sustainable products, he started a business polishing concrete and built the business to be the 3rd largest concrete polishing company in the US, operating in 42 states with 5 locations and working with over 20 national and global leaders and retailers. In 2019 he sold the business, became a General Contractor and started Blue Mallard Homes turning his passion into a business that focuses on the long-term goals and satisfaction of his clients. Brent and his wife Andrea have 3 children, with their first grandchild on the way!
